TMS320F280025C: encrypted DFU bootloader

Hi,

I would like to know if TI provides a bootloader for encrypted firmware updates, such that the IP is secured. I worked several years with the STM32 uC's and there is the SBSFU bootloader, that easly allow encrypted firmware updates in the field. Is there something similiar provided by TI?

Sebastian,

We don't have a ROM bootloader that supports encrypted firmware updates like you are asking. We have devices with a Secure Boot mode which supports image authentication against a reference.

From a software perspective, we don't have a software example yet to illustrate this, if that is what you are looking for, although I will say this is something that will be addressed in the future.
