TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT: LD1 blinking and cannot upload code on to the control card

Hi,

I'm using F28335 on the TDMSHVMTRPFCKIT. I'm trying to upload a code onto my F28335 control card but I get an error message and I can't upload the program on to the control card.

I have several control cards and TDMSHVMTRPFCKITs, so I've tried to figure out whether it was the TDMSHVMTRPFCKIT or the control card causing the problem.

Well it appears to be the TDMSHVMTRPFCKIT causing the problem since I was able to upload the program on the control card with another TDMSHVMTRPFCKIT.

The error message I get:

Maybe there's something wrong with the IPM perhaps?

You may take a look at the links below, and follow the guide to check the debug probe and the power supply for the controlCard.

The problem disappeared when I replaced the IPM with a new one.

Is there any protection circuit on the TMDSHVMTRPFCKIT that prevents 15V DC supply when there is a problem with the IPM?

If so, what kind of IPM malfunction would trigger the protection scheme?

Short circuit? Shoot through?

You may take a look at the guides below in controSUITE to setup the kits, and just connect the +15V DC power supply to check if the JTAG debug probe can be connected as mentioned above.
