TMS320F280025C: Code analysis and unit testing the FATFS ?

I have integrated the fatfs R0.13a for SD card interface with TMS320F280025C.

In future, i need to plan for unit testing.

In that case, whether we have to do code analysis and unit testing for the third party open source software like fatfs also?

Or there is any tested and certified fatfs library, so that i can interface it directly without any testing done by my side.

We did some functional testing on our port, but not really unit testing on the library. You can search the FatFs site and see if they give any more details about testing, but to my knowledge there's no certified version of the library.
