TMS320F280041: How many INPUTXBAR peripherals does the RSH footprint support? SysConfig and Tech Ref manual disagree...

Part Number: TMS320F280041
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

When using the RSH 56-lead VQFN footprint, the SysConfig utility (web version identified as "SysConfig (1.11.0+2225)") permits only a single INPUTXBAR to be used.  The Technical Reference Manual (SPRUI33D) states that any pin may be connected to the INPUTXBAR peripheral.  Neither the Technical Reference Manual or the datasheet (SPRS945D) mention anything about only a single INPUTXBAR being available for the RSH footprint.

My questions:

  1. Can you verify that the RSH footprint supports only a single INPUTXBAR?  This seems very odd as it makes it impossible to use more than one of the peripherals that can only be used via an INPUTXBAR.  I suspect that the SysConfig utility is actually at fault and needs to be fixed.
  2. If the SysConfig utility has a bug and the datasheet is correct, then when will it be fixed?
  3. If the data sheet is incorrect, then when can I get a copy of the corrected data sheet?
  4. If both are correct and both are simply vague on this issue, then please verify how many INPUTXBARS are available and does it matter which pin that use to reach the single INPUTXBAR peripheral?
  5. Bonus question:  If only a single INPUTXBAR may be used, what was the rationale for this decision?  Just curious...

Thanks for some clarification on this.  It is urgent for me because I can't complete the design without knowing this and the design is time sensitive.

Here is a screenshot of the SysConfig utility preventing more than 1 INPUTXBAR from being used:
