TMS320F28375D: UniFlash Error

Part Number: TMS320F28375D
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

I am getting this error from UniFlash:

ERROR] C28xx_CPU1: Error connecting to the target: (Error -1050 @ 0x0) Internal error: Invalid parameter passed to function. Restart the application. If error persists, please report the error. (Emulation package 9.3.0.00032)

These MCU cards were programmed before, tested,  passed test.

This error from UniFlash occurs when we try to re-program them with new code

  • Hi Jeff,

This error is not from the flash programming algorithms.  It is from the emulation before the flash programmer kicks in.

Couple of things you can check:

    1. Please take a look at https://www.ti.com/lit/spracf0 and see if that helps to debug.

    2. Did you program the passwords on this device?

I will loop in our emulation expert based on your reply.

    Thanks and regards,

    Vamsi

  • More information:

I went into the GET WAIT mode and the programmed it with the original test code using UNIFLASH.

It programmed and started working, talking, …

Then I tried another older working code and it won’t program

So I also tried the C2PROG and it won’t program.  It connects to the target fine, then tries bootloading, then says :connecting with target ... Failed (no response)!

So the only code it will take and work with is the original code that it was programmed with to test the MCU card

    Any ideas?

  • Hi Jeff,

When you say "Then I tried another older working code and it won’t program", what error did you get when you tried to program the device in wait mode?

Also, did you program passwords on this device?

    Thanks and regards,
    Vamsi

  • Hi Jeff,

Based on your private chat message, I am closing this thread since the issue is solved by updating the CPLD on your side.

    Thanks and regards,
