Usage of the CLA and DMA

Hello,
I have a question regarding the usage of the CLA and DMA. With the bit CPUn.SECMSEL you can choose the connection of the CLA and DMA to the internal bus.



Does that mean it's not possible to use the CLA and DMA at the same time?

    Hi Ralf,

    Yes, that is correct. . If a peripheral belongs to a CPU subsystem, it can be accessed by the CPU and one of the secondary masters (either DMA or CLA1). The secondary master is statically selected using the SECMSEL register mapped to the respective CPU.
