TMS320F280049: How can I synchronize EPWM on two separate boards using external pulses?

I refer to the example in C2000ware (epwm_ex3_synchronization).

I'm trying to generate sync EXTSYNCIN1 by inputting a pulse of width 2usec through Input5, but I don't see any alignment action on the scope.

One MCU generates EXTSYNCOUT, the other MCU uses the GPIO module -> EXTSYNCIN1 to synchronize it's PWMs to the signal?

I have three boards. I use one MCU to generate a pulse in GPIO mode when pressing the key.

This pulse would send into another two boards via InputXbar5 and link EXTSYNCIN1. Two boards MCU receive this pulse from EXTSYNCIN1. I expect it can align EPWM1 at the same time, but I don't see any change in the scope.

I solved my problem. I forgot to write the following line,

SysCtl_setSyncInputConfig(SYSCTL_SYNC_IN_EPWM1, SYSCTL_SYNC_IN_SRC_EXTSYNCIN1);
