TMDSHVMTRINSPIN: HV-Kit with F28069M

Part Number: TMDSHVMTRINSPIN
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MOTORWARE

Hello

I was already in touch with Mr. Jagle about this issue, but he asked me to use E2E because he will be in holiday the next view days. Anyhow, we have the HVKIT, it is working with the supplied motor, but I want now to change to our motor. For that reason I need to make some changes in the source-files and to recomplie the entire project. As it looks like, to supplied project for the HV-Kit in MotorWare is made for 280025, but my kit contains the F28069. I was not succesful up to now to convert the supplied project to F28069. I would like to ask, if there is project available, containing the sources for the HV-Kit together with F28069. Otherwise, some hints how to convert the Motorware-project would be appreciated. I followed the instruction written in "spruj16.pdf", but it looks like it does not adapt the CPU. Chaning it manually lead into many different problems... (missing libraries, etc.).

Thanks and best regards

  • There are some of F28069F/M based motor drive examples with InstaSPIN-FOC in motorWare. You may find the related example labs in the folder below after you installed the MotorWarehttp://www.ti.com/tool/motorware.

Please take a look at the lab and hardware guides below before you try to run your motor on the HVKIT.

  • Sorry for the delay of my feedback, I was engaged in a different project in the meantime. Thanks to Yanming Luo, this solved my problems. I didn't install motorware since I have read somewhere, motorware shall be outdated and shouldn't be used anymore. Anyhow, this was exactly what I was looking for..I got problems with lab1b and lab1c, I skipped them, because I have seen in a different thread the code has not been adapted to the HV-Kit until now. If there is anything, where I can see the ADC's working, any hint would be appreciated.
