Background:

I want to reload then start a CMPSS ramp generator twice per PWM cycle for PCMC. The RAMPSTS decrement can only occur when EPWMSYNCPER occurs. At the moment, I can only generate the sync pulse once per PWM cycle.

The TRM kind of suggests that PWMSYNCSELX are additonal ("extended") conditions for the EPWMSYNCER pulse. However empirical testing suggests that the settings for PWMSYNCSEL and PWMSYNCSELX are mutually exclusive but I'm not 100% sure of this.

Question:

If PWMSYNCSELX is a non-zero value does that mean the settings in PWMSYNCSEL become inactive or are the conditions in both PWMSYNCSEL and PWMSYNCSELX both active concurrently?
