TMS320F28388D: (Error -1137 @ 0x0) Device is held in reset.

Are you calling SysCtl_resetDevice() from CPU1 or CPU2?

SysCtl_resetDevice() generates Watchgog reset. CPU1 Watchdog-Reset creates system reset (CPU1 and CPU2), where are CPU2 Watchdog-Reset resets only CPU2.

Do I change the function or edit something?? or Can I use the another reset function??

What is the state of CPU2? Is it already in reset state as reported by error?

Actually, I don't know state of CPU2. I don't use CPU2 now. How can I see the state of CPU2??

And, I put the SysCtl_resetDevice function in some example of 2838x. There is also same error message.

Can you make sure CPU2 is disconnected when you are calling SysCtl_resetDevice() function?

Calling this function from CPU1 is reseting both cores and if CPU2 is connected, and the error is reported.

How can I CPU2 disconnected?? I read and search about that. But I can't find it.

Open the Debug Window, select C28xx_CPU2, right-click and select 'Disconnect Target'
