TMS320F280049: Does ADCINTOVF cause ADCINT stop working?

Part Number: TMS320F280049

Hi expert,

I am asking this question for our customer.

ADCINT2 is triggered by SOC of ADCA2, which means in the picture below, ADCINT2 = ADCAINT and ADCINTOVF=AdcaRegs.ADCINTOVF.bit.ADCINT2.

Customer found that when AdcaRegs.ADCINTOVF.bit.ADCINT2=1, it means an overflow occurred. We expected that ADCINT2 would stop working at this time, but the test found that ADCINT2 would sometimes stop working and sometimes working normally. We think this phenomenon is a bit strange. The customer wants to know why the overflow event happened and it is uncertain if ADCINTx stopped working?

The picture below is the picture of ADCINT2 working normally and stopping when AdcaRegs.ADCINTOVF.bit.ADCINT2=1.

Could you help me with this case?

Thanks

Julia
