TMS320F28379D: Interrupt is not triggered when I continue to step by step debugging.

How is the interrupt getting triggered in the application?

Hi,

The interrupt is triggered by the USER interrupt.

Hi,

The debugger disable interrupts while single stepping by default, you can change this in the settings.

Tools-> Debugger Options -> Program/Memory Load Options.

Uncheck the highlighted checkboxes.

When I run the code and set a breakpoint in the interrupt the PC halt, but When I step by step I never branch to the interrupt service routine.

Hi, Thanks for trying this out. I will pass this on to the CCS team. It may be that for single stepping the debugger or hardware is disabling interrupts. I will get back to you on this.
