TMS320F28379D: SFRA GUI won't connect

I'm using and modifying the example solution tmdxiddk379d for sensored field oriented control for my own application and am having some trouble connecting the SFRA GUI. I've gone through my code comparing to the tmdxiddk379d example, and there are no differences for the SFRA portions of the code. I also attempted to connect the SFRA GUI to the original tmdxiddk379d example, but it also does not connect. In the GUI, I select floating point and the proper COM port, but no connection occurs. Any suggestions on where to begin debugging to find out why the GUI won't connect? I've been following the instructions in 'Quick Response Control of PMSM Using Fast Current Loop'.

Hi Qing,

Thanks for the assistance. I went through the thread you attached, and already have implemented the suggested actions. I did however find the issue. The tmdxiddk379d example code was written for the tms320f28379d control card, where the SCI TX and RX pins are GPIOs 28 and 29. For the launchpad, SCI TX and RX pins are GPIOs 42 and 43. After switching the GPIOs in the sfra settings file, the gui successfully connects.
