TMS320F28388D: Illegal Mnemonic specified

Bear with me a bit, I'm not well versed in ARM ASM like the C28x ASM.  Can you just try B instead of LB?  I think B in ARM should support the longer address range.  To be honest, I've not tried to inline asm with ARM core, just the C28x, so I'm not entirely sure the syntax is the same, i.e. the asm(" ");

Is there a particular reason you are using assembly in this case, especially for a branch(meaning there is likely no missing optimization induced by the compiler)?

B instruction is used for looping not for jumping from one address to another address.

Can you try the original instruction with no "space" after the " in the ASM?  I know for C28x this is required, but after looking the ARM developer instruction I'm not sure this is needed for ARM assembly.

I'm going to try an find some others who may be more familiar with inline ARM assembly.

I've been using that already. I was curious if we have any asm instruction instead of using a function pointer.

However, we can close this issue.
