TMS320F28379D: SCI port spitting out garbage after CCS CPU reset

Hello,

I am running a SCI serial port on CPU2 and when I use the CPU reset button within CCS, it starts spitting out garbage. But when I use the reset button on the actual dev kit, everything works as expected. Is there some issue in CCS when resetting CPU2? When I use CPU1 I don't see any issues either way I try to reset.

Hi Brandon,

CPU1 reset, resets everything where as CPU2 resets only CPU2 core and cpu2 peripherals.

Let me check with UART expert and get back to you on Monday.

I've just been using the hardware reset button as a work around so am fine to continue doing that. I was just curious if this was a known issue
