TMS320F28335: Induction Motor Control

Hi Everyone,

Good Evening...!!!

I am trying to develop IM FOC using encoder(Qep). I am not sure how to start motor, Do I need to run motor first in V/Hz and then switch to FOC or is their any direct start method..?

That depends on the control algorithm and the position encoder you used. Generally, you can use the I/F or V/f to start the motor, and then switch to FOC if you don't need start the motor with heavy/full load at zero speed.
