TMS320F28335PTPx/ TMS320F28335ZJZx compatibility with same firmware

Hello TI Team,

We are currently using DSP microcontroller (TMS320F28335PTPx) for all our existing products. But now we are moving to larger production batch and because of chip shortage we cannot find our existing chipset. 

So as an alternate we are using different package (TMS320F28335ZJZx) with same MCU family. 

I just wanted to confirm that our software does not require any modification for this package change. 

Can you please confirm on this ?

    Jayesh,

    You are correct, this is just a difference in package(and therefore signal placement).  These PNs are fully binary compatible with one another as such, so if you've relaid the PCB out to accommodate the different terminal locations you should see identical behavior in the system.
