TMS320F28069: TMDSHVMTRINSPIN

Part Number: TMS320F28069
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MOTORWARE

Hi team,

Here's an issue from the customer may need your help:

1) The figure above is in lab5b in file://C:/ti/motorware/motorware_1_01_00_18/docs/labs/instaspin_labs.pdf. How does the simulation mentioned here work?

2) Is the “increase the KP” implemented by the system or required to be performed by the users?

Could you help check this case? Thanks.

Best Regards,

Cherry

  • There is no any special simulation tools for this, it's just a typical PI controller that need to be tuned according to the user's system. The customer may refer to the calculation equations in the lab and use the default values to tune them according to the real running state.

  • Hi Yanming,

    Thanks for your support.

    use the default values

Just want to confirm, dose this "default value" is calculated by the system itself? Also is "tune them" referring to tune the value by the user themselves?

    Thank and regards,

    Cherry

  • The gains of the current PI controller are calculated according to the motor parameters. The gains of the speed PI controller are calculated according to the inverter parameters. These calculation parameters are just as reference as an start point, the user should tune them according to the system.
