TMS320F280025C: Do you have a sample project code for the control of a BLDC using hall sensors?

We are using DRV8323RS board.

When I try to enable MOTOR1_HALL define, with MOTOR1_ISBLDC with universal_motorcontrol_lab_f28002x project, I am getting the following error during building.

"ISBLDC can't work with other estimaor simultaneously"

Is there another project that allows me to use BLDC with hall?

Please advice.

The "ISBLDC " is sensorless trapezoidal control, not based on the hall sensor. You should just select "MOTOR1_HALL" and "HALL_ENABLE" to use the hall sensor based sensored-FOC as described in the lab guide.

When we run this "MOTOR1_HALL" and "HALL_ENABLE" configuration, the output is not trapezoidal and it is not driving the motor correctly.

We are looking for a trapezoidal/HALL module., not a sensored-FOC.

Is Sensored FOC trapezoidal?

You have to refer to an old project based on F2803x or F2806x in controlSUITE as the link below. You can migrate thii to the newer C2000 device.

Which lab uses universal_lab_HALL.txt under the folder, C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_MotorControl_SDK_3_03_00_00\solutions\universal_motorcontrol_lab\common\debug ?

Please take a look at the Universal Project and Lab User’s Guide: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/spruj26/spruj26.pdf, The file is for the Universal Lab with hall based sensored-FOC to import the related variables into the CCS expressions window for debugging.
