Hi Ryan,
Please follow this document: https://www.ti.com/lit/ug/slvubd3a/slvubd3a.pdf?ts=1656384838717&ref_url=https%253A%252F%252Fwww.ti.com%252Ftool%252FBOOSTXL-DRV8323RS
For hardware variants ("H"), you should ensure the resistors on the BOOSTXL-DRV8323RH are configured for the hardware settings. This means the SPI connections will be not connected to the LAUNCHXL-F28069M. I don't think this should cause an issue with the MotorWARE projects since all settings will be defaulted or configured in the DRV8323RH. The program stops if it detects nFAULT going low, you'll just be unable to read back or diagnose status registers via SPI.
Thanks,
Aaron
Hi Ryan,
The resistor dividers shown below on the BOOSLXT-DRV8323RH schematic/board show the resistors to configure for hardware settings.
Thanks,
Aaron
