CONTROLSUITE: controlSUITE program run error

Hello Dear TI Team,

I have installed controlSUITE v3.4.9 (latest version) on my computer. The program opens, but nothing appears on the screen as in the image below.

The address where I run the program is as follows. Also, my computer's operating system is Windows 10 Pro x64.

C:\ti\controlSUITE\controlSUITE.exe

Can you comment on what version of Code Composer Studio is installed? Have you tried to open resource explorer from inside CCS?

Hi Matthew,

Code Composer Studio v11.0.0.00012 is installed on my computer. ControlSUITE from CCS resource explorer does not open offline.

Sinan,

It may be more helpful to understand what examples/projects you are looking to import into CCS. controlSUITE is an older repository structure that has been replaced with C2000Ware integrated with CCS/Resource Explorer.

If there are older support files/examples you need from controlSUITE, let me know and I can help you find them. I'm not sure if getting the GUI side of things will be efficient. Please also let me know which C2000 device you are working with, and I can make sure if controlSUITE is needed or we can just use C2000Ware.

I am using TMDSECATCNCD379D device in my project.

Should I use C2000Ware instead of ControlSUITE? Also, ControlSUITE will no longer be updated?

Thanks for the additional information. I believe the eCAT examples are in the TMDXIDDK379D development folder as part of C2000Ware Motor Control SDK. You can download that here: https://www.ti.com/tool/C2000WARE-MOTORCONTROL-SDK?keyMatch=MOTOR%20CONTROL%20SDK

To your last point, controlSUITE is no longer being updated. We have migrated to C2000Ware, per above.
