Hi Team,

Our customer is looking to use this document as a reference in developing a PMSM rated at 150Kw 280-300 VDC.

In addition, the customer is asking if you can share if you have suggestions for a suite of sensors for current (voltage shall be compatible) , a set of isolated gate drivers / IGBT bank that you know that they can use to achieve this? Is there a reference design that will better help the customer use as reference?

Can you please share more details on customer requirement? Are they trying to build a automotive traction inverter, or a industrial drive system? Any design requirement other than driving the motor? Thanks.

Thank you for waiting. Here's more information:

They are planning to use TMS320F28379D Launchpad as the controller in combination with BOOSTXL-3PhGaNInv EVM as the driver to run the Yaskawa USA CEM-02AA2K AC Servo Motor 24 Volt, 200W, 2.9A, 3000 RPM Encoder UTOPH-150VP CNC.

I believe that the two boards together shall be able to drive the servo motor / PMSM from a 24VDC supply. Can you confirm?

This motor is different from what specified in the original post, but yes, the board combination you suggested should be able to run this motor. You can find reference software from C2000WARE-MOTORCONTROL-SDK and path below. Thanks.
