TMS320F280049C: HRPWM variable frequency control with LLC control?

Hi Champs,

I am asking for my customer.

Customer are using the enabled high-resolution period control (HRPCTL[HRPE]=1) as below:

Once update the TBPRDHR, the HRPWM frequency would be uncertain. Any thing missed? Or restrict to the variable frequency control?

Could you give me the reference code？

What exactly do you mean by "frequency would be uncertain"? Is there a change in the frequency?
Is the customer using variable frequency control?

Hi Subrahmanya,

When using HRPWM with a variable frequency drive we need to provide a sync signal every time we adjust the frequency, there is a jitter when the sync pulse happens. So how to solve it?

Hi, Continuous synchronization should not be done in case of variable frequency applications (using HR). You can disable the synchronization in general and enable and apply a sync pulse only when frequency is changed, enable sync for that cycle only.
