Very difficult to explain this in a e2e post but I can point you to a few resources:
Please start by reading the boot-ROM chapter in the TRM. This will give you a good idea of the “boot-flow”. You will also understand the function of the boot-mode-select pins.

Please go through www.ti.com/lit/SPRABV4. It is written for SCI but the idea is the same for CAN.
