Hello,
when debuging CLA1 and stop at MDEBUGSTOP1 in the task will CPU1, CPU2 and CLA2 also stop execution? Or only CPU1 and CPU2, CLA2 will not stop? Is this somewhere described?

Hi Holger,
MDEBUGSTOP1 will only stop the CLA which is executing that instruction. Other cores are not halted. Same is true with the ESTOP instruction on C28x side
The details of all the CLA instructions are documented in the device TRM.

Hello Veena,
so it is not possible to stop all cores with one MDEBUGSTOP1 or ESTOP breakpoint, right?
Regards, Holger
There is something called Global breakpoints in CCS. But I dont think it supports CLA core.
