TMS320F28388D:How to disable RAM ECC

Dear Sir

The TMS320F2838x has ECC in both the C28x and M4 core RAMs, but I read the TRM but couldn't find a way to enable / disable the ECC in each RAM.
There was a TEST register, but this is for self-testing, right?

How do I enable / disable the ECC for each RAM in both cores?

ECC/Parity feature on RAM can not be disable.

I have additional questions.

Is the FLASH memory ECC enabled by default and can't be disabled (same as the RAM ECC)?

Hi,

Yes, Flash ECC is enabled by default. You can disable it if needed.

However, since it is enabled at power-up, you will get ECC errors if ECC is not programmed for the flash image.
