Dear Sir

"Illegal mnemonic specified" is occurring in the code I created, and I am in trouble because I cannot solve it.

Please let me know if you have any advice.

__asm volatile ("cpsie i");

Here "cpsie i" is said to be Illegal mnemonic.

The toolchain version is "TI v20.2.5.LTS".

The TI ARM compiler does not support GCC style asm statements. That's why volatile is removed. The code inside the "quotes" must start with a space, otherwise the assembler reads it as a label, and not an instruction.

In the example of the ARMC manual, it looks like there is a space at the beginning.
