TMS320F280049C: C2000 Position Manager BISS-C Library CLB output x bar

The C2000 Position Manager BISS-C Library User's Guide shows TMS320F28379D configured for BiSS on figure 3 page 6. (Shown below)

1) can this be implemented using TMS320F280049C?

2) GPIO7 shows the SPI being clocked by the CLB via and external pin connection. Can this be done using the XBARs without the external connection?

3) Is there an example CCS project for BiSS using the TMS320F280049C ?

We are currently in hardware selection stage for this project.

    Yes from a feature standpoint.  There may need to be some changes to the input/output that would require the library source.  The library source is not yet available in our SDK release.  We are working towards having the source code available in the SDK in 4Q/1Q23.

    On the F2804x this would be possible by using a specific CLB tile and output.  For example, Table 29-3. Peripheral Signal Multiplexer Table in the Technical Reference Manual shows that Tile3 output8 can directly connect to SPICLK A. Likewise Tile4 can directly connect to SPICLK B.  This feature was not available on F2837x
