I have a custom board where I use the TMS320F2809 DSP.

I have the spectrum digiral XDS510LC USB JTAG emulator from past.

I have the SD config uti;ity installed on my laptop and also the Uniflash utility installed.

I am looking for the correct procedure to download my program (.out file) to my device.

where should i start.

Havi,

Which versoin of Windows are you using? Looks like support for XDS510 probes is deprecated in UniFlash/CCS. Please refer thread below

Regarding SDConfig, are you able to verify the emulator connection? You can follow the below steps

1. Launch SDConfig

2. Click on the port address number that corresponds to your emulator.

3. Verify emulator connection ( Configuration -> Verify ).

4. Read the output pane, if the emulator connection can be verified, a message will display your

connection status, if not the emulator connection will respond with an error
