TMS320F28388D: Section violation error when using C2prog

Hi team,

W are now using F28388 SCI mode through C2prog and we meet a problem named Section violation, can you help us to solve this problem? Thanks! The cmd file is in the attachment.

Hi,

Can you share the snapshot of the error? Is this a linker error or programming error?

It is a programming error, named Section violation(0x39000, len=0x310)

Hi Bruce,

I think you meant "Sector violation" error from C2Prog. Please confirm. I never saw "Section violation".

Can you check your linker command file to ensure that all the initialized sections are mapped to valid flash address space?
