TMS320F28379D: Three level converter DC balancing technique

Part Number: TMS320F28379D

I am working with a three level Active neutral point clamping PWM inverter at the University of Central Florida. I am using Simulink as the programming platform of the DSP. The three phase inverter has four inner switches and two outer switches per phase. The switching frequency of inner switches has been set to high (50 kHz). The switching frequency of outer switches has been set low (1 kHz). The voltage across the capacitors (+VDC to N and N to –VDC) is required to be balanced. I am looking for a technique for DC balancing.

1. Will I design an offset value which will be added with the three phase modulating signal to balance the DC? Can you suggest a good reference?

2. Is there any option to add offset to the ePWM switching signal in the DSP?
