Hi team,

Here's an issue from the customer may need your help:

Connecting the parallel-port bus of the 16-bit AD chip to EM1D[0:15] of the EMIF, assuming address bit A, data bit B, writing address A to the external AD via EM1D[0:15], followed by writing data B to this address. The customer would like to know how to read the written data B through EMIF[0:15]? Thanks.

The information provided is not sufficient. How to read the written data is dependent on the AD chip. Can you provide the schematics that shows the connection between the MCU and the AD chip?

The read process would be just the reverse of the write process. I presume customer is able to successfully write to the device, which would indicate that the H/W connection between the 2 chips is good. Page 24 of the AD2S1210 datasheet explains the procedure for the read. Further questions on AD2S1210 should be directed to the manufacturer of the chip, not us.
