TMS320F280025-Q1: Anti Tamper Logic included ?

Part Number: TMS320F280025-Q1

Hi team!

flash of the F280025 can be partially or completely blocked with a 128-bit password, so that, for example, no readout via the debugger is possible.

Question:

1) Is some kind of anti-tamper logic programmed in, so that after 10 or x unlock attempts, for example, the flash is permanently blocked or deleted?

Or is it simply assumed that 2^128 unlock attempts are unlikely to crack a password?

2) Does a register exists, where unlock attempts are counted ?

  • Hi,

Or is it simply assumed that 2^128 unlock attempts are unlikely to crack a password?

We do not have anti-temper logic. Assumption is that trying that many combination to unlock the part is very difficult.

    2) Does a register exists, where unlock attempts are counted ?

No, we do not have such counter.
