TMS320F28379D: ADC result calibration

Part Number: TMS320F28379D

Hi Team,

Am reading single ADC signal and getting result values which is not corresponding to the input voltage.

I am giving 1.7v to ADC pin and result value should be 2110.

But am getting 2020. Am using CPU timer0 as trigger source and configured CPU timer0 for 27.78uS

I have attached my code here for your reference.

And i have a doubt on how to select Acquisition window (ACQPS).

When am increasing the sample window result value is increasing.

Please help me on this.

Thanks and Regards

vasu

  • Vasu,

If increasing the S/H window is helping to get closer to the ideal value of 2110 then I think you may not be giving enough settling time for the ADC S/H cap to accurately charge to the external voltage.

Please take a look at this appnote, which goes into more detail as well as some simulation tools to help you pick a ACQPS value.

    Best,
    Matthew
