TMS320F28379D: Using a reset IC

Hi community!

I have a question about proper designing the microcontroller board. I'm designing an interface board for TMS320F28379D. I took a look at design documents of LAUNCHXL-F28379D. A reset IC such as "STM6315sdw13f" has not been used in the board. Would anyone please let me know if it is a good idea to using this IC in my design?

A OV/UV device must reset the device outside of a specific range, the range required for VDD and VDDIO is specified in the Datasheet.

The device must also be open-drain, which seems to be true for the part selected.

If you want a tested and known-good IC feel free to just use the monitors from TMDSCNCD28379D. The BOM and schematic can be found in c2000Ware.

I couldn't find the PDF or schematic of the board you mentioned. Is it publicly available to use? If not, would you please just let me know what are the functions of XRSN and GPIO-168 ?

two step process.

1 install C2000ware https://www.ti.com/tool/C2000WARE

2 Open the files contained here: C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_4_01_00_00\boards\controlCARDs\TMDSCNCD28379D\R1_3

Please note that the install location can be modified, and the exact version of C2000ware may change depending on which download you install.
