TMS320F28335: Modifying the code of TI Reference design for other applications

Part Number: TMS320F28335
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: POWERSUITE, C2000WARE, SFRA

Hello Support Team,

Are there any resources that go through Powersuite and all other power supply designer apps in detail such that I can learn how to safely convert an available code from TI's reference design to a code suitable for my application?

I've been working on designing an EV Charger that utilizes a DAB Converter like that in TIDA10054. However, my power stage is designed by myself and is of only 5kW unlike TIDA010054 which is of 10kW. Likewise, my operating frequency is also different. Also, the control board I will be using is F28335 unlike F28049 used in the reference design. So, I was wondering if I can still make use of the Power Suite GUI or the Codes from the reference design for my application.

Any suggestions, risks, resources regarding this would be highly appreciated. Also, if there is a webinar or training video that goes through complete hardware testing for any of the TI's reference Design using Digital Power SDK tools, then please share.

Thank you!

Regards,
Prashant
