TMS320F2809: Manufacturing time.

Hello,

We are a medical equipment manufecturer and we use the TMS320F2809 in our control boards. It is an "old" microcontroler, so we would like to know if you have a forecast to stop manufacturing this component, as we need to plan a new hardware development with newer microcontrollers.

Also, we would like an indication of newer microcontroller in the same lineup.

    There are no plans to stop manufacturing of this device.

    For newer generation I would suggest looking at 

    TMS320F280039C series, available in the same 100-pin LQFP you probably use today. If you are using the 100 BGA we no longer offer devices in a similar, but there will be something new we announce early in 2023 that would be interesting for you.
