TMS320F28069: Alternative device

Hi Team,

Our customer is looking for a pin compatible alternative device to TMS320F28069PZPS and would like to confirm if some devices with USB option will function like this device if the USB is not used. Aside from TMS320F28069FPZPQ, TMS320F28069UPZPS and TMS320F28069MPZPQ, do we have alternative device?

    Danilo,

    Yes, they can substitute the USB device for the non-USB device in this case.  The below would be an option:

    TMS320F28069PZPQ (Just auto grade vs Industrial)

    TMS320F28069UPZPS(USB available, no change in other functions)

    Let me know if these are stocked, if not I would need to dig a bit deeper to see if some of the other variants are drop in replacements.

    Just forward looking, can you ask the customer if they are using the CLA and/or the VCU on the device?
