Hi,
For the latest 28X chips such as F2838x, F28002x, F28003x, and F28004x, both examples written with Bit fields framework and API drivers are provided through C2000Ware, but examples written with Bit fields framework are insufficient.
In some ways although the approach using the API driver can be advantageous, I think the traditional Bit fields framework approach may be more advantageous if developer want full control of the 28X at the register level (using MMR).
In addition, from the point of view of developers who have used earlier generation 28X chips, support sources written in Bit fields framework may be more preferred in terms of familiarity or reuse old code from previous generations of 28X chips.
I'm curious to know what TI thinks and plans for the future.
Bit fields framework support continue for upcoming 28X chips?
Thanks.
