Hello,

I just downloaded Code Composer Studio to get acquainted with the software I tried building and debugging multiple different example project for the C2000Ware and kept getting this error:

Error connecting to the target:
(Error -716 @ 0x0)
Required dynamic library jscserdes could not be located.
The library isn't on the search path.
(Emulation package 9.2.0.00213)

Hi Punitha,

Which EVM you are trying to connect? Is it LAUNCHXL-F280025C or it controlCARD with docking station?

If you are using LAUNCHXL-F280025C, please make sure you are CPU1_LAUNCHXL_RAM build configuration.

Also open the target configuration, make sure TMS320F280025C_LaunchPad.ccxml is active.

Hope it helps. I will also recommend you to take a look at C2000 Academy, module2. It walks through the steps needed to get started with C2000 family of devices.

Looking at the error code, it looks like you have conflicting emulator selected.

Are you running any example from C2000Ware? Can you send the screen-shot of your project and the console log?
