TMS320F28027F: what diode can we use instead of NUP4201MR6

Hi every one ,

good day:)

as you know in control card for every Analog pin one protection diode is connected .
since NUP4201MR6 Zener diode is expensive.

my questions are:

A-this diode is for ESD protection or it protect analog pin from spike that may comes form motor signal sensing (Ia,Ib,Ic,Va,Vb,Vc,Vdc) ?

B-what Zener diode can use instead of that ?
shall we use any USB protection diodes, I found USB protection diode such as PRTR5V0U4D or SMF05C.TCT or L13ESDL5V0C6-4
(it seems to me all of them as a similar pin out and function )
