Hi,

I'm trying to build a dashboard for exchanging information between the user and a development board (LAUNCHXL-F280039C).

I created a GUI in the past (2019) using GUI composer with no trouble creating the target configuration, however it appears it is not as straightforward anymore.

The steps I followed are:

Project-->New:

When I hit the connect button it says:

Are you able to connect to your LaunchPad just fine from CCS? I suspect GUI Composer is using a ccxml file for the XDS110 that isn't configured to use 2-pin cJTAG like the LaunchPad requires. You may want to try using the same ccxml file that you use in CCS and uploading it to your GUI project. There are some instructions on uploading a custom ccxml file on the page below:
