I have a question regarding the TI Flash Agent. I'm generating a Motorola SRECORD via hex2000. Below is an output line from the file:
S2223E8000FFFFFFFF33441122AA55AA550200004D006100790020003200360020003278
When I use CCSv4 to flash the COFF file (F28035), the memory looks like this:
FFFFFFFF33441122AA55AA550200004D006100790020003200360020032
So, the srecord text looks ok.
I'm using the Blackhawk Flash burn utility to load the srecord, but when I use that to flash the file, the memory looks like this:
FFFFFFFF4433221155AA55AA00024D00610079002000320036002003200
The byte order is swaped!
Talking with blackhawk support, they claim to be using the TI Flash Agent. I'm trying to determine if:
- I can modify the flash agent to swap the bytes
-Have hex2000 generate byte swaps
-Determine if this is a bug in Flashburn
Any ideas?!
