TMS320F280025C: X-BAR for safe torque off (STO)

Part Number: TMS320F280025C

Hi,

I'm looking into the X-BAR feature from the F280025 series and there is the possibility to configure GPIOs to trip the motor PWM and additionally give a monitor ouput, that the PWM is tripped.

Now, for a STO SIL3, there are two independent path needed to turn off the motor power / commutation when a STO is triggered and I would like to achieve this by using the X-BAR feature and two GPIO inputs, configured to trip the ePWM module and two GPIO outputs to give feedback about the STO state. So, is the X-BAR feature enough to reach such a high SIL level or should there be an additional external PWM blocker circuit?
