Hi,
I see on the datasheet that TMS320F2837xS and TMS320F2837xD are pin to pin compatible. The number of peripherals are also the same in the same pin out, with dual core, we get an extra CPU as well as a CLA.
Suppose, I don't use the 2nd core and still want to migrate from single to dual core, in that case, can I re-use the bootloader and firmware from single core. I am asking this question from a supply chain alternative part number perspective.
