What is happening here. I have projects in my workspace, one called 'piccolo' the other is called 'Z1001-068'. both project accessing the same resource "TMS320LIB_XXXXX' I am actively working in Z1001-068 and add a path information to the compiler include options, were I noticed that in project properties / include option the correct path is visible (see attached picture). If you look at the second attached picture, the path of just include path information refers to 'piccolo' in its path for no obvious reason. When I go ahead and disable the project 'piccolo' the path information suddenly changes to its proper path (see attached third picture), re-enabling the project 'piccolo' will change the path information into the wrong path again.

Is there any logical explanation to this phenomena? Does this mean I have close all my projects when working on an active one?

Hello,

What is the absolute path of the piccolo directory? Is their any dependency between the two projects (project dependencies)?

These are two independent projects. However they access the same linked resource (TMS320LIB_XXX). See attached for the absolute path of the projects.

Can you share the two project with me? Note that I don't need any source files. I just need the project folders with the .*project files in them. You can strip out the rest. You can start a private E2E conversation with me if you wish to share privately.

Note that I edited my above post regarding the CCS version. The version is clearly stated in the title of the thread. YOu must be using the compiler from CCS v7.

This project might have been created in CCS V7 originally and I imported it into V10. Is this generally not a good idea to do? If so, what is the easiest way to find out what version CCS and tools had been used?

It should not matter (much). CCS will auto-convert older project to the newer format during the import.

Where you ever able to reproduce what I am seeing after I sent you the project files? My coworker sees the exact same thing happening. I do think at this point that it is a pure cosmetic issue but you never know.

I do not recall ever receiving the project files. If you did, I cannot find it. Can you re-send it?
