There is only the SW method that I mentioned in the above post.  There is no any HW logic in the device to accomplish it.

I don't understand what you mean by "HW logic in the device" My thought is that I can allocate few flash sectors for the runtime data storage using Flash EEPROM driver, and F28002x flash API. Please correct me if my idea is not right.
