TMS320F28065: how to use control PMSM motors with f26065 microcontroller?

Hi forum,

I am using a custom board which its core processor is a F28065 microcontroller. I am going to implement sensored FOC to control the motor. could you please tell me what I should do? and How can I use controlsuite software. I even couldn't find a proper application note. there is application note for sensorless FOC but for sensored model, I couldn't find anything.

Download and install the CONTROLSUITE
http://www.ti.com/tool/CONTROLSUITE

You can find a sensorless-FOC for PMSM project with F2806x, and application notes in the folders as below.

Thank you for your help. I wonder to know to know if there is any example code or for calculating motor position using hall effect sensors. I have connected them to ECAP[1:3] pins of the microcontroller.

It's only for trapezoidal control for BLDC. You may refer to the example in the folder below.

Hi Yanming,

Hope they fix the web pages (maintenance) stating Control Suite is found in C2000ware but was not included with C2000Ware_4_01_00_00 downloaded via REX. These new web page Control Suite names are not keeping consistent with REX CCS9.3 to CCS11.0. There is no F2806x Control Suite shown (REX online) in the left view pain under Software when expanded. The only Control Suites shown in REX left view pain are Digital SDK 4.0, Power SDK 4.01, but are not intended for older F2806x MCU class.

controlSUITE and motorWare are no longer being updated, but will continue to be available for download. So both two are not available in Resource Explorer as well.
