Other Parts Discussed in Thread: C2000WARE
I am developing using TMS320F28388D.
I want to use interrupts according to GPIO HighLow like "XINT on CPU1,2" in CM core.
It would be helpful if you could give me an example of the above, if specifiable.

Hi Gouki,
Our expert will get back on this today.
Ono-san,
I noticed that you rejected the resolution after you marked it Resolved. I wonder if it was by mistake. In any case, I have taken up your issue with our software team.
Hi Hareesh.
Thank you.
I just made the mistake of leaving it as resolved and was waiting for a response.
best regard.
Ono-san,
As mentioned, I have taken this up with our software team. They will evaluate the request and make a decision. If they do decide to create an example, it will show up in the next release of C2000ware, which may take several months. I am unable to provide a "solution" to you right away. We can close the post for now. I will put a reminder for myself to follow-up with our s/w team. Let me know what you think.
Hi Hareesh.
Thank you for your response.
Understood.
If S/W contacts you about the availability of making this, would it be possible for you to include it here?
best regard.
Ono-san,
I got confirmation as below:
For controlling GPIOs from CM, we have a LED blinky example on CM side (C:\ti\c2000\C2000Ware_4_01_00_00\driverlib\f2838x\examples\c28x_cm\led). CM only has control over the GPIO data registers; the MUX and other GPIO control settings are configurable by CPU1 only.
On GPIO interrupts, it is not available as an interrupt source on CM side. One option is to configure the interrupt on C28x and trigger an IPC interrupt to CM.
I hope this answers your question.
Hi Hareesh.
Since the CM core cannot receive GPIO interrupts, does this mean that the C28 core will use XINT to receive GPIO interrupts and then implement IPC to throw interrupts to the CM core?
best regard.
