TMS320F28379S: Can CCS Use Multiple Emulators?

Greetings,

We have a new product which has multiple processors on it, each with its own JTAG port. Can a single instance of CCS work with multiple emulators?

Do you mean that multiple emulators connected to laptop and each target are using different emulators?

I did not read your question properly. Yes, single instance of CCS can work with multiple emulators. In the target configuration file, you can mention the serial number of the emulator.

Hi Santosh,

OK. I found that. But it only lets me work with a single emulator. Is there a way to run multiple emulators simultaneously?

Ed,

Yes, you can have multiple emulator connected, but you can have only one debug session at a time.
